For us it is the most
natural thing in the world. Very early on, we at the Schmitz
works decided on an environmentally-compatible method
of production, investing correspondingly high sums in
a creative concept to provide “natural cycles”.
In 1988, the works were given the ASU award for environmentally-aware
corporate management. As members of future e.V. (a non-profitmaking
initiative of companies) we promote environmentally-friendly
products and services.
We use materials to make our branded products, modelling
our methods on Mother Nature herself, where the sun’s
energy keeps all natural cycles in motion and the squandering
and wasting of resources are unheard of. Our production
processes result in a minimum of environmental impact
through waste water and waste fumes making our products
environmentally–friendly and recycable.
Combined with other accompanying
environmental measures regarding for example, noise
abatement and the recycling of residue substances,
plus the integration of our staff in this concept,
we create an ecological production process resulting
in our branded products contributing to an enhanced
quality of life.
