Storage period
Generally, we delete your personal data when this is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
If we have previously asked for your consent, and you have given it, we will delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing to continue.
We will delete your personal data if you object to the processing and there are no other legitimate reasons for us to process your personal details, or if you object to us processing your data for direct advertising or associated profiling.
If we are not in a position to delete your personal data because processing is still necessary to fulfil a legal obligation (statutory retention period, etc.) or because it is needed in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, we will restrict the processing of your personal data.
More information on the storage period is given further on.
Your rights
As far as your personal rights are concerned, you are entitled to:
You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data, based on Article 6 (Paragraph 1e or 1f) GDPR; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can prove compelling legitimate reasons for doing so that outweigh your interests, rights and liberties, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. Where we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such advertising with future effect; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to the direct marketing. We will then no longer process your personal data for these purposes.
You are entitled to withdraw consent to the processing of your personal details at any time, where you have previously given us your consent. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its revocation.
You have the right to make a complaint to a regulatory authority concerning the processing of your personal data by our company.
Making personal data available
Providing personal data is neither required by law nor is it prescribed for contracts, and is not required for the conclusion of a contract with us. You are not generally obliged to provide your personal data. Nevertheless, where this happens to be the case, we will make you aware separately that we are collecting your personal data (for example by marking the mandatory fields on forms to be completed).
Failure to provide your personal data can regularly result in us not being able to process your personal data for one of the purposes described below. This, in turn, may mean that you are unable to take advantage of an offer related to the respective processing (for example, you will not receive our newsletter if you do not provide your email address).
Web hosting
External services are used for web hosting. These services may have access to personal data that is processed in the course of using our online offering.
Web server log files
We process your personal data, in order to be able to display our products and services and to ensure the stability and security of our online offering. This includes information (e.g. a requested element, URL accessed, operating system, date and time of a request, browser type and the version used, IP address, protocol used, data quantity transferred, user agent, referrer URL, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and/or HTTP status code) that is stored in so-called log files (access log, error log etc.).
If we have requested that you give your consent, and you have done so, the processing of your data is in line with Art. 6 (1a) GDPR. If we did not request that you give your consent, the processing is carried out in line with Art. 6 (1f) GDPR. In this respect, our legitimate interest is the proper display of our products and services advertised online and the guarantee of the stability and security of our online offering.

We use encryption on our domain for security reasons and to protect the transmission of your personal data and other confidential content. This is indicated in the browser by means of the character string “https://” and the lock symbol.
Contacting us
If you contact us, we process your personal data in order to deal with your enquiry.
If we have requested that you give your consent, and you have done so, the processing of your data is in line with Art. 6 (1a) GDPR. If we did not request that you give your consent, the processing is carried out in line with Art. 6 (1f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to deal with your enquiry. If the processing is required to fulfil a contract with yourself or to carry out pre-contractual measures based on your enquiry, this processing is done in line with Art. 6 (1b) GDPR.
We use external services to provide and maintain our email accounts. These services may have access to the personal data that is processed as a result of you contacting us.
